Meet the Judges.

We are immensely proud to introduce the judges for our photographic competition.  Along with representatives of TateOil, we are overjoyed to have secured the services and expert eyes of two of the country’s top creative, professionals.

International award winning photographer Lorentz Gullachsen has kindly agreed to join our team.  His awards include Gold, Silver and Merits from the Association of Photographers, which are the equivalent of the Oscars for the photographic industry, together with awards from London Photographic Association, D&AD and the Royal Photographic Society.  His collections have been shown at the National Portrait Gallery and his work shown internationally.  I could carry on with a list of credits and achievements, but I think the best thing to say is take a look at his work and see for your self just how lucky we are!  Visit Lorentz’s site at www.gullachsen.com.

The second of our professional judges is the hugely respected and talented Pete Denton.  Advertising creative, Art Director and Getty Images Photographer, Pete, spent over 10 years in London working for top agencies and a client list which includes the like of KLM, BT and American Express.  Moving north 15 years ago, he has enjoyed top rolls at leading agencies and spent over 14 years as a freelance Art Director, during which time he has worked on projects for the likes of Seabrook Crisps, Ladbrokes, British Airways, Aer Lingus and was even responsible for putting the ‘X’ into the Halifax Building Society adverts!  His list of national and international creative awards includes D&AD and the New York Festivals. He can be reached at pete@dentonanddenton.co.uk

The pair of judges have worked on numerous projects together and form one of the country’s most formidable creative forces, landing the Gold for Lorentz from the Association of Photographers.  In fact the pair have even presided as Judges for the association; not on the occasion that they won, I hasten to add!

So, get your entries in and it could be you getting the ‘thumbs up’ from this illustrious pair of industry pro’s. Enter here.
