Where and how often do you deliver?
We deliver daily, except Sundays across the north of England. View our delivery area.
I have run out of fuel, do you deliver the same day?
Yes, wherever possible, we reserve delivery windows for our customers who have run-out or have an emergency, however, these slots are limited and we do urge all our customers to order in advance to avoid disappointment.
How much notice do I have to give?
48hrs is ideal for us, but we aim to deliver within 24hrs.
Can you do a weekend delivery?
Yes, we run a Saturday delivery service throughout the winter months.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday: 7am until 5.30pm
Saturday: 8am until 12 noon
What is the minimum and maximum delivery I can have?
The minimum delivery of any fuel is 500ltr and we can deliver up to 41,000ltr.
Why can’t I have a delivery smaller than 500ltr?
You are welcome to collect any amount you like from our forecourt pumps, in Otley, however, it is against the law for us to deliver amounts smaller than that. Tankers are calibrated by weights and measures to be accurate for deliveries of that amount or greater.
What is your price for delivered fuel?

Why is the price different each time I order?
Fuel prices are directly linked to the price of crude. As with any commodity, when demand is high, the price rises which has a knock-on effect on the price of delivered and pump dispensed fuels. Of course, when demand is lowest, so are the prices.
Do I need to be in to receive a fuel delivery?
No, if access is easy, or we have been to your property before, we can deliver without you having to wait in for our driver. Any special instructions should be given at the time of ordering.
I have restricted access to my property, can you still deliver to me?
Yes, in most cases, TateOil are able to get one of our smaller 4 wheel tankers onto your property.
We have had access problems despite the smaller tankers, can you help?
Yes, we have taken delivery of our new ‘Baby’ tanker which reaches places other tankers can not.
Do you sell lubricants and grease from your Otley office?
Yes, we sell both from our Otley depot and can also deliver them directly. View our product range.
