Boilers and Ovens: Tate AgaMate
Love your Aga with this specialy formulated clean-burn additive, designed to lower the char-value of your Aga fuel, reduces coke and carbon build-ups, allowing the system to burn smoothly and efficiently.
In turn, this will reduce your fuel bills and increase reliability, making you further savings on engineer call outs.
Other benefits include stabilising your oil and inhibiting the formation of tank sludge, keeping your fuel fresher, for longer.
It even helps to reduce your carbon footprint!
Gasoil / Diesel: Tate AgriMate
This uniquely formulated additive raises the cetane level of UK specification Gasoil.
In simple terms, if you are running a ‘third tier’ engine on your farm, a new combine or tractor with full monitoring systems, you may well be aware of the problems that can be encountered running them on standard UK Gasoil.
Typically, the problems experienced are rough running, black smoke and monitoring system lockout.
By raising the cetane level, the Gasoil is raised in performance, close to standard Derv, giving better pulling power, easier starting, smoother running, lower smoke and emissions and a higher lubricity, which protects the engine.
It also gives the user fewer water problems and lower fuel consumption, noticeably saving you money.
Tate ColdFlow
Engineered with the farmer in mind, but useful to any user of Gasoil or Diesel, our ColdFlow additive lowers the 'cloud point' of Gasoil and Diesel.
What this means in reality, is that the point at which the fuel waxes and congeals is also lowered, enabling it to be used in far colder temperatures.
Coldflow allows users with bulk stock of ‘summer’ diesel to use it without problems, well into the winter months, lowering the usable temperature from -5°c to -15°c.
'Winter’ diesel will be usable down to temps of a bone shaking -25°c! It is notoriously difficult to improve the cold flow of Biodiesels, but our system does manage to increase performance in a number of cases.
Tate FuelTrack
A combination of this additive and an analytical method are used to trace where a source fuel is ending up in various tanks along a downstream chain.
In other words, if your fuel is being stolen, Tankbust’s invisible tracer will allow the thief to be identified beyond doubt. The results provide technical indications as to the likely theft practice. We recommend that the use of the product is publicised to act as a deterrent.
FuelTrack also provides additional combustion benefits, including lower black smoke in diesel angine and boiler applications.
Tate SludgeBuster
If you are suffering from Microbiological Contamination of your fuel SludgeBuster is the product to use. SludgeBuster will prevent operating problems due to contamination such as oil/water emulsions, sludge and slime, plugging of filters/injectors/burners/gauges, blistering of seals/hoses/connections and accelerated tank and pipe corrosion. It can be used as a tank additive, for batch treatment, or continuous injection into a flowing system.
