How Does the Cold Weather Priority Scheme Operate?
The Cold Weather Priority (CWP) scheme was set up to prioritise caring for elderly heating oil customers. If your household includes one or more residents aged 75 and above, you qualify for participation in this program.
The scheme functions by offering an additional layer of assistance to elderly customers. We do our utmost to prioritize those enrolled in the scheme, especially during the winter months.
At Tate Oil, we employ various methods to identify customers falling into the ‘CWP’ category. These methods include engaging with customers during their order placements to assess eligibility, we send communications to inform our customers about the CWP initiative and seeking their interest in being classified as CWP customers.
We dedicate significant efforts to identify customers aged 75 and above. We encourage customers to inform us if they or someone in their home is aged 75 or older, thereby ensuring their inclusion in the CWP scheme.
The scheme costs nothing, and to be eligible you simply need to have one or more residents at your address aged 75 or over. Just let us know at the point of ordering if your household is eligible.
